Back blipping this as my Bank Holiday weekend was so packed that I didn't have time to post on Sunday.
Over the weekend a local hostelry hosted a Blues Festival. I can honestly say I have spent more time in the pub over the last few days than I have in the last year. This guy is a local and does a good mix of southern rock and blues. He does the best version of 'Jolene' I have ever heard. Other bands were more well known but the surprising headline act was Mungo Jerry. They played for 2 1/2 hours and were superb. The lead singer is 72 but still has a great set of lungs and an amazing amount of energy.
