Reading Carnival

Its that time of year again - for what has always been (and always will be as far as I am concerned) the Caribbean Carnival. Today, however, it was billed as the 'all nations carnival' These boys and girls really know how to party. They parade through the town for about 2 hours and then arrive in the park for lots of dancing and posing for photos.The costumes are just fantastic and it is nice to see the bigger girls being loud and proud too!
Lots of reggae music and jerk chicken and maybe a bit of rum and wacky baccy (not me you understand!).
And the weather was good.
