Soggy morning

It rained heavily overnight, but at least we didn't get snow like the West Country.
It stayed dry yesterday evening for the local Guy Fawkes celebrations. We got a good view from the balcony of the golf club of the twenty minute long firework display at Brockham, nearly a mile away. The display had an Olympic theme and we could successions of rings rising in the air. Between us and the fireworks were a few small bare trees and the fireworks looked beautiful through their lacy branches. Doffy would have loved it!
