On the way to England

Friday - I tried to work fast in the morning so that I was able to shut down at 2 pm and get out to get some coffee at Davide's before we would get on the road to England.
Glasgow was gorgeous - over 20 degrees and a summery forecast for the bank holiday weekend!
Leek was rainy at 13 degrees!! Slightly off putting to be honest. At least the forecast for the weekend was 21 degrees (with rain!).
Neil was home at 3 pm and went for a shave, I walked home after a chat with Davide and started packing. We were on the road at 5 pm. Not to bad.
The weather changed pretty much when we left Scotland and was getting nastier the closer we got to the destination.
We stopped at Tebay and bought some bits and bobs including a small present for Carol and and bottle of wine.
We arrived at the farm at 11 pm just early enough to say hello to Carol and Holly.
We were tired and went to bed soon after.
