The times, they are a changin'

The tectonic plates of the economy are slowly, but inexorably shifting.

A few years ago my software training classes in Norway were dominated by folks from oil and gas businesses. My workshop in Oslo today was dominated by people working on software for wind energy. This was especially remarkable as they came from three different companies, based in three different countries (Norway, Finland, and Denmark). We didn't have anybody from oil and gas.

At home in the evening, Jacob cooks dinner. I chip away at the corporate administration backlog. Liz plans her trip flight and hotel for a conference in Stavanger. She's leaving early tomorrow.
