Thanks Vets

So Thanks to Dad for his U S Army service and Thanks to Mom for her service ‘keeping the home fires burning’ as they say. Before and during dad’s service days, she and many of her friends had jobs at Hunter Manufacturing, a local plant.
And after War II, Dad was the Commander at the American Legion, and Mom active in its Auxiliary, but we girls were members of the ‘Legionettes’ baton-twirling troupe ( yes, Me, baton twirling - all prior to age 12, haha).
Dad’s remembrances have a place of honor on my living room bookcase, and Mom also on another shelf.
So for our Memorial Day holiday and everyday, God Bless and thank you to all our armed service people.
