Ski to Sea + Corgi

I had a surprisingly sedentary day given what everyone else was doing. Longshanks, too. We enjoyed the scene at the kayak launch, then people watched some more at the take out. Our team--the boys from last year plus Paul and J, elders, minus a few youngsters--did passably well. LS got lots of attention.

I couldn't bring my mom. That was a sad but true reckoning. She's come with me the last three years, but this year her knee is too tender, the crowds would have been too large, I had to do too much hurrying from one site to the other, and there would have been way too many distractions, i.e., babies.
