Bricks and Coal

The haar didn't really lift in Edinburgh today, but we were just across the water in Torryburn, where it did, although there was a cold breeze.

With the coal-fired power station to the east, the associated lagoons a bit closer, the aircraft-carrier factory just around the corner to the west and the giant refinery across the water, this is a very pleasant little corner.

Parts of the beach are made almost entirely of bricks and coal (the extra).  This was a very busy part of the world.
