Abi, watering

The Minx is rightly concerned about my ability to care for the results of all her work in the garden, so I am doing my best to remember that in this beautiful, hot, sunny weather, the new plants need watering.

It was nine o'clock and I was in the middle of doing something else when I remembered, today, so I shouted out to see if either of the kids would do it. It's funny when someone else enjoys doing something you see as a chore: Abi enthusiastically shouted back "I'll do it".

She used the watering can on the deck and then did the garden using the hose, taking her time, making sure everything received a good drink.
