Finally.....!

Today we made it! Our cream tea proper. 

The weather has been so totally different to yesterday; chilly and dull. So a good shopping day for our guests and it was good to go with them. M came off really well...great to be able to see a man enjoy clothes shopping! S and I gave excellent support and encouraging nods of approval....

Shopping can be a hungry business and KFC was just a shop away. I've not been there for years! 

Our tea was perfect (so we were assured). Hot scones, thick cream and delicious strawberry jam. Tea too, hot and brewed to a good strength and colour. 

Gosh...I hope it warms up tomorrow...for Martin's sake...!
