T'is the season.....

...for rhododendrons, azaleas and alliums and they looked beautiful in Coombe Gardens  this afternoon. 

D went to tennis as usual and Sandy and I had a wonderful morning doing "little jobs..." and driving in my car with the roof down. BRILLIANT! The weather is fantastic! Lunch in the garden on the loungers...and the plan was to have a cream tea somewhere. Time disappeared so we went locally to The Coach Cafe, but spent too long enjoying and photographing the blooms that the cafe was closing by the time we got to it...DOH.

Sainsbury's came up trumps though...and we had scones and jam and clotted cream in the garden..before Sandy cooked a wonderful Aloo keema curry for dinner. 

And we collected Martin from the station just in time to eat the curry. Great to have him with us too now.
