Waiting

Our son has gone away for the weekend - and so I went to collect his dog Milo from his house this morning.

She was waiting for me as I drove up - just sitting staring out through the front door! I don’t know if she does this for every car that comes past or just for mine. She was very excited when I got in.

Lots of lovely rain today - not often you hear that phrase! Most of the garden has had a good soaking (apart from some of the border under the hedge) and, most importantly, the water butts are full again - we were down to the last few litres…
