A Golden Carpet.

I called into the local Rose Garden to look for a flower for Flower Friday but although there were lots of new plantings,  there were only a few manky roses left.

My eye was taken by a beautiful sweep of golden leaves spread over quite a large area.  The source of the leaves is in the  extras.  Does the fact it was taken in a rose garden qualify the blip for Flower Friday? I hope so.
