Four Spot chaser .........

......…. on our pond today.  Guarding and patrolling to prevent any competition - there was also a broad bodied chaser, but I think this guy saw him off!  And lots of blue and red damselflies - who didn't appear to be a threat - maybe they are lunch?

We've set up the goldfish tank again, with new vegetation, and treated Marlon to some companions.  Keeping to the same theme (DS Roy Grace by Peter James called his goldfish Marlon) we've named the new ones Sandy, Roy and Cleo.  I just hope that our Marlon is kinder to his companions than the one in the books.  And the fish tank could be Gracelands?

I've enjoyed a long weekend off, doing some stuff in the garden but also getting plenty of rest.  Back to work tomorrow, and I'm working over the weekend.
