Laird's Loch

Very frosty and icy at ground level this morning, although, oddly enough, the snow had gone from the hills (as shown yesterday). We met up with a friend and went for a walk in Hallyburton Community Woodland, which contains Laird's Loch, popular with local fishermen.

There were lots of shots to choose from showing the woods or the view across the loch or the hazy distant view from the top of the hill, but I chose this one because of the ice on the water at mid-day. It was still there at 3 pm, in spite of the sun having come out:)

Wonder what weather tomorrow will bring?
