to Visit Chicken Ruth

Today was the day for me to visit "Chicken Ruth's" Smallholding.  I had been asked to call to have a look at some old beekeeping equipment she had acquired and to help her decide if any could be retained.

We arrived in the middle of a crisis as the Loughtan lamb seen in granddaughter Ella's arms had become separated from its mother.  Anyway Ella soon sorted them out - she is very good at that sort of thing!

Incidentally the lady is known as "Chicken Ruth" so that grand children can distinguish her from another lady by the same name!
