High Flyer
Today it was the British Relay Championships. Lots of fun with mass starts, lots of controls and gaffled courses to avoid following.
This was the fence crossing on the way to the spectator control visited by all course. Good to see some of the juniors that have been to Lagganlia (a junior training camp) that I help coach at. The young man leaping the fence is one such athlete. The importance of running your own race is paramount as it is easy to become distracted.
Our club had two teams competing. Our W60 team coming in 4th and our young men finishing third in the Men’s Open class. Not my best race after yesterday but pleased with the result. A great weekend but a long trek home!
