Celebration

Well, it’s a day of joy and celebration after all. If you have been on Royal Wedding Watch, you will not have missed a minute of sheer pageantry, joy and a Royal ceremony like no other.

I know the television at our place was on from around 9.30am, and remained on until well after the marriage ceremony and procession at Windsor.

But I was heartened in my travels around Romsey town later on that even the scaffolding and construction work going on at Bartletts Almshouses almost in the shadow of the town’s Norman Abbey, did not preclude appropriate patriotic decoration and bunting of the gardens.
