Love like fire

What a beautiful day. We toasted the happy couple with a bottle of TJC's prosecco and then settled in to watch the proceedings. A beautiful celebration, combining the classic pomp and ceremony of a British Royal Wedding with the fire and flavour of the African American heritage and I loved every minute of it. I refuse to listen to the cynical naysayers...it was glorious. It was inclusive, diverse and generally more fun than the usual somber affairs. The Bish was on fire and preached up a storm and it was a tiny bit funny to see some of the Royal Family squirm. The flowers were amazing. Meghan's mother was the star of the show. The ululating outside the church gave me goosebumps.

The celebrations continued with sun, beer, BBQ and tunes on the deck. Glorious.
