The new slipways

Work is progressing apace on the new slipways for the Colintraive / Rhubodach ferry crossing.  

I went to Bute today so saw it from both sides.   At Colintraive , as my extra photo shows, the slipway still needs to have the concrete slabs positioned.    

However on the island side  the work is almost finished and this  morning a huge crane was holding shuttering in the water , and creating an unusual sight which I caught from the upper deck of the boat on the very short return trip.
