The sun sinking...

As I came over the Rest & Be Thankful tonight  on the way back from Edinburgh the sun was sinking behind the hills, throwing up all sorts of patterns and shadows at the top of the pass and drawing attention to the top of the Old Military Road, once used for hill climbs and now part of the bad weather diversion route. 

The picture was taken at almost precisely at the boundary of my constituency with the neighbouring one of Dumbarton, so in a sense it marks my return home each time I cross it.
