Celebrations

A colleague reaches a significant birthday at the end of this week and another, gifted, colleague made her a wonderful cake. Lighting xx candles was a bit of a mission (and safety hazard?).

At the end of the day a poignant moment when a couple brought in a donation, completely unexpectedly. Sadly their son, who worked with us at JCP+, and had really promoted the partnership across the organisation, died suddenly at the start of the month. The money was collected at his funeral. Tears were shed.

Then after a v long journey west (45 mins to go about a mile and a half, with most of that stationary) at the College for the Student Association ECSA-llence awards celebrating great lecturers.

Finally home to catch up with Y and work till midnight sending out invites but nowhere near Granton at all today, no reason to be.
