Time passing

I couldn’t decide what to do for a Blip birthday, till I took this picture of Nathaniel blowing his dandelion clock. It is a kind of metaphor for time passing - he wasn’t even born when I started blipping!

We picked Ella up from school and sh3 was full of the royal wedding picnic they were going to have, then Nathaniel said they were dressing up as princesses at nursery for the Royal wedding. He migh5 have misunderstood, though if he wants to wear a dress Ella has plenty to lend. They were both delightful as alaways. We missed them so much.

We went to inspect the chaos of their ‘new’ house, which is just along the terrace from their old one by the metro. But it is needing lots of work. #3 daughter is super-organised with a spreadsheet of builders, joiners, electricians, plasters and decorators, coatings, dates etc. - Mr C won’t be involved this time.

Then we went to an Indian Street food place near West Jesmond station. The children had Chicken Korma and we had something a bit hotter - of all the cuisines we enjoyed, we had no Indian food on the trip so it was greatly appreciated.

Then I dashed over to the Sage to meet Chris for a piano recital. The performer was exhausted by the end - and so were we.
