Fine Mornin ida Paet Hill

The sun continues to shine, although the odd cloud passing.  A bit cooler today, but still good :)

I took today off as a holiday, loads needing done.  I spent the morning in the peat hill.  Slight delay in plans this afternoon, yapping with friends on da street in Scalloway.  Popped along Madeline for a cuppa, and then headed home to get stuck in the garden.  A few hours weeding and planting flowers.  Cathy next door grabbed me for a bit, and helped her get rid of horrible salmon berry.  A big walk about Scalloway with Sammy, before I head to work in the pub later.

A great morning to get to the peat hill.  I've been raising more peats, and must be about half way through now.  If this great spell of weather continues, it'll not take long for them to dry.  Some of my thinner attempts at casting are almost bone dry now.  Taken at Brunt Hamarsland.
