Clean up Scotland, keep Scotland beautiful :)

Had a great lunchtime trip with IsleMum over to Cromarty where we sat in the sun ,watched some dolphins and had a good giggle :)
The rest of the afternoon was spent making milkshake, printing off forms and getting organised for the Beach Clean.
Luckily ,although it was blowy at home , It was calm and dry in Rosemarkie.The girls made posters about litter until the Strathpeffer Brownies and Guides arrived and some very helpful Guides from Fortrose :) So on with the yellow high vis tabards and we were off on the hunt for rubbish. It was a difficult hunt as there was not much at all , one of the Guide leaders did find a pair of old trainers ! The girls had fun though especially with the litter pickers that we borrowed from the Council.We were only able to borrow 16 as there is a high demand for them at the moment.
We finished with milk shake and chocolate Brownies and a quick sandcastle build and play.
Just one bag to go in the bin in the Fairy Glen carpark ready for collection.Litter pickers, gloves and bags collected ready to go back to the council and then on to another local group who are cleaning a stretch along the Fairy Glen Road at the weekend.A message sent to one of the parents as their daughter had left their coat and drink bottle (there’s always One !) Photos up loaded , thank yous sent and the. Dinner and bed !
