N.T. Raffle

In our National Trust guide book it lists thirty-two sites or attractions, Joshua suggested that we use thirty-two raffle tickets and draw one each time Clare has a day off.

What A Good Idea

Yesterday we drew Dodman Point on the Roseland, setting off at midday we crossed on the King Harry Ferry and made our way through some of the narrowest roads in Cornwall to the car park. It was then a mile and a half walk to the cross at the top of Dodman Point, Gussie slipped into "non pull mode" and we enjoyed the bright sunshine and clean air and to some extent the solitude, there were very few other walkers about.
The circular route back meant a relatively short walk of around three miles before we returned to the car and set off for Gorran Haven, on arrival we were a bit disappointed to find it closed and retraced our steps back to Caerhays and the Beach Cafe. Bacon & Brie Focaccia's for Clare and I with complimentary dog biscuits for Gussie and quite possibly the best flat white coffee I have had in a long time.
Home via a visit to Portscatho, back over the ferry and home arriving after a six hour day on the Roseland spent almost entirely in the open air and sunshine.

Looking forward to the next N.T number drawn out
