Double Decker

Waiting to board our A380 to Sydney - for once I will be the passenger not the pilot but this would be a bit of a leap to fly after the Piper. Once upon a time a double decker journey would take us down Firs Rd to Sale Town center. This one is a little longer range. I am always amazed at how these monsters get off the ground - even knowing the theory still doesn’t make it any less amazing. 17 hours is a long ride but we’ll be covering nearly 9000 miles. Then on to Perth once we arrive in Sydney for Dad’s 90th birthday celebration.
