Tatty

I walked down to the River to see what was occurring. Two runners jogged past talking and crashing about, I thought that was the end of any wildlife opportunities but I did see a few butterflies including this pretty peacock. (if that's what it is, I usually get it wrong) if it is it is officially called Aglais Io. 
Well I never knew that. It appears to have a rather scruffy wing with one of its spots half missing.
