New t

Very excited about the new species to our garden. I mentioned that we had spotted a newt in our pond, and we have since seen two (much more exciting than one!). I wanted to catch one to photograph and identify so I got out the pond net, and managed to catch and incarcerate this one in a jar. Within a few minutes it was returned to its watery home. I checked some ID sites and decided it was a Palmate Newt, based on the lack of chin spots and the eyestripe but I'm no herpetologist, so if anyone out there can confirm or correct, that would be very much appreciated.
