West Linton

After yesterday's exertions, I realised my pre-trip restaurant booking was an error of choice, the venue being over a mile from our hotel. With aching legs and feet, I minced along through the streets of Copenhagen passing many of the corners I had run along in the morning.

We settled for the set menu - Salmon, lamb shank & crème brûlée
all washed down with a local pale ale. I was replete.

This morning, we caught the train to the flughavn and made the short hop over the North Sea and home. The approach flight path took us over St Abb's Head, Lauder, West Linton and then a sharp right-hander over the Pentlands....the beckoning hills!
