We set off this evening for one of our favourite walks to Craiglockhart pond.
Great excitement as the cygnets had hatched and were sitting beside their mum on the nest-see extra.
Then as we walked away we sae a perfect Heron catching frogs in the reeds-see extra.
On our way back on the canal we passes a slightly older swan family dibbling around for vegetation in the canal.
All in all a very successful trip out.
