Emerge

Edinburgh has been having such a dry spell that I think the snails that nibble our garden have not been able to come out of Hibernation/estivation.  We are now having a small amount of rain, we need much more!  and a number of very dusty snails are emerging out of the crevices that they have been hiding in.
My extra is of a Copper Shield Fern unfurling in the front garden-they are very beautiful plants.
