Scratch Night

A trip to Embra this evening to a scratch night at the Traverse Theatre. Daughter has been going to the young writers group at the theatre and tonight some of their work was presented to an audience by professional actors and directors. It was quite strange for Daughter as she has never had anyone other than herself perform anything she has written. It has been a great experience for her and she has learnt a lot about writing, about herself as a writer and her confidence in her abilities has grown. 

Earlier in the day we had fourteen hang gliders soaring in the sky above the house. So many that I couldn't get them all in the one shot (see extra). Definitely the most we have seen at the one time. A great day for it.
