Marjorie's ramblings

The Fat Controller

Today started with Daisy being delightful and cuddling up on the bed.

Oscar's limp was worse. How to catch him? I tried to entice him into a basket with cheese, but he was too suspicious. Dick, a neighbour, came to help, but Oscar ended up climbing the conservatory walls and creating mayhem. He did not make it to the vet's today.

Suitably traumatised - that's both Oscar and me - I did some tidying before taking Mum to Hexham for the Embroiderers' Guild.  I had shopping to do, most of which I achieved.

I also called at the Model Train Fair. I'd taken the 85mm lens with me so this was a challenge for the photography, but I had good fun.

Here is the man who is directing Thomas, Henry and co around the tracks. The children were enthralled.

My extra is a beautiful reproduction of Dunstan Harbour. We sang a lullaby from Dunstan during the Singing Walk last week.

Salamander awaits. The vet says that Oscar has to rest his paw........ Oscar has gone to ground.
