Christianborg Palace (1907)

We ran one Copenhagen’s three Parkruns this morning, in sweltering sun. The signs for tomorrow’s marathon were ominous as I was drenched with sweat after the short run.

Fortunately the clouds rolled in off the Baltic later in the day and temperatures became more pleasant.

Registration for tomorrow was in the north of the city so we trawled through various suburbs after collecting my number. This ended up being over 25kms on foot....perhaps not good prep.

Near our hotel, we went up the tower of the Parliament building above to get a view of city and orientate myself.
