Rusty Hull

It was very windy this morning, and as  my beautiful wife headed off for some hossing, I trundled to Stromness to look at a little job. The shop I was to be working in was closed and as I hung around waiting for the owner to show up, I watched a couple of guys working on their fishing boat. I took a couple of snaps of them, but liked the abstract nature of this shot of part of the boat's hull. When the shop owner eventually showed up, a 30 second look was enough for me to advise that the services of the water board were required. I am not allowed to fiddle with water meters, whether they are leaking or not. Apart from a couple of photographs, my trip to Stromness was a waste of time.
Back at home, I did some paperwork before lunch and a very windy wander at Aikerness. No cycling today, as the wind has been gusting over 40mph.
