Positive Parenting

Last week I got an email from a friend of a friend, gifting me a day on her course 'Positive Parenting'...particularly kind as it costs 100 euros! The day combined learning new parenting techniques, to bring out the best in both you and your kids, hiking (see extra pics - couldn't resist) and a gorgeous healthy lunch! It was so good! Looking at how to help kids become more resilient, how to encourage a 'growth mindset' in them (& you)...activities to do together to foster closeness, phraseology to use to communicate things well and do discipline well...really thought provoking!

Drama of the day;
Hearing Asha's teased at school for being too white...poor thing...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Jade's kindness.
2) Hiking in SUCH a beautiful place - we were seriously shattered by the time we got back up though, it was long and steep!
3) The post hike shower!
