Curzon Park (Tuesday 8th May 2018)

Blossom is so short-lived, isn't it? My woodland garden is currently strewn with white petals from my crab apple and other trees. I posted an Extra of some blossom in Curzon Park from the end of my Sunday walk to find Newbury Avenue, and went back to photograph some more on Tuesday.

As you can see, this was taken at the entrance to the Curzon Park estate in Savernake Drive (named after a forest between Marlborough and Hungerford), and to give some context I have included the A4 as it rattles past my driveway a couple of hundred yards further along under the name Curzon Street, before snaking slowly into Calne.

,After my exposure mishap of Monday I seem to be jinxed as the dial on my camera became accidentally set to Manual instead of Aperture Priority, resulting in everything being taken at 100th at f9, and so this time were all heavily over-exposed. They have been somewhat rescued in the lab.
