Lightning Strike

Western Oregon had a ripping good lightning storm early Sunday morning. The storm ran its course pretty much the full width of the state, from California to Washington. We found this fir tree with a strike a couple of hundred yards from our tiny home. I found three strikes, one of them on a neighbor's property, only a few yards from this tree. That tree had the top completely blown out, and the top portion of it was burning slowly. We are really lucky this didn't happen a month or two later, when everything was much drier. Mother Nature wins every time. I'll post a few extras too.
