This Year's Bloo Tit

My nephew made me a lovely nest box and I have the Orla Kiely one that my daughter gave me but the blue tits have gone for the hole where the old loo overflow used to be again this year. :) This one has just arrived with a tasty green caterpillar for its brood.

I spent a pleasant time prostrate outside the back door this morning photographing baby Blackie and his or her brother/sister. They're completlely fearless and came to our barbeque this evening.

I saw my first damselfly of the season - what a thrill and photographed the fairy longhorn moths that I've been catching sight of recently.
