South Downs with cupola ....

After [another] hectic week, medically, we are back at West Dean Gardens in the sunshine, looking up at the south downs with the stables cupola in the foreground.

The original Grade II listing says:
The north east wing has a carriage archway with a
flint-faced tower over, bearing a clock face and a cupola above.

Medical issues this week are Harvey's, not mine for a change! He's taking the lull to get himself sorted, a hernia repair, more of those little annoying skin cancers removed. Battle scarred and a bit weary, two different hospitals in one day is a record even for us,  but coming up smiling and cheerful.

We did manage a trip to meet up with extended family at the weekend, always a joy, and lunch today with our son. Delightful all.
