Barny on a post...

I was up and about very early today and it was well worth it when I spotted this barn owl sitting on a post close to the side of the road. I sat in my car, watched it for quite a while & took a few photos. Eventually it caught something and flew off. A car makes a great hide and more often than not, the bird sees you in your car and is fine with it. People walking, and especially if they have a dog, make them fly away. Viewed in full screen is better.
