to be in the Nick of Time

I was out cycling this morning and came across this sign.  Normally people would be suggesting that perhaps one should not drink and drive/ride.  Do not forget however that this is the Isle of Man where things can be done rather differently....

I am busily engaged in getting on a very large brew of rhubarb champagne and so, as it happens, the sign was most apposite!
