Room to Roam

After work today Mr. Badger helped me add another 200 ft of electric netting to the poultry run. You can see that line of leaves (that the chickens and ducks are happily searching for bugs in) is where the fence used to end. I bought the extra fencing last year to keep deer out of the garden, but I actually ordered some deer specific fencing for this year as I am going to try and move the drakes to the other side of the yard in their own set up. Just need to find them a little shelter first :) So in the meantime, we figured why not extend the current run? Birds seem pleased so far, just concerned with all the open areas. Don't want them to get caught out there with no where to run and a hawk eyeballing them ...
