May Day

It's a big thing here.

Not as big as it used to be, when the present 6 countries, were 6 republic's and 2 autonomous areas that was Jugoslavija.

Back then there were massive military parades, banners with the face of Josip Broz (Tito) and the nation's motto of "Bratsvo i Jedinstvo" (Brotherhood and Unity), huge BBQ meals with drinks that were free and provided by the different unions for their workers.

That's all history now, but the day, or rather two days of celebration, continues although now more of a family event.

The food is volumous, hospitality amazing and with the typical weather for the time of year, such a wonderful experience.
