Moon Landscape

In the Namib Desert, near Swakopmund, the landscape let you imagine how the Earth looked like millions of years ago. It is called 'Moon Landscape'. A mineral world made of dolomite, gneiss, quartz & Silex, shaped by the elements and by time.
In one section of this protected area, there are a few specimens of Welvitschia mirabilis , a strange plant that can live more than a thousand years and which is endemic to the region.
