Kuiseb River Pass

The drive across the Namib Desert from east to west takes five hours. From Sesriem to Walvis Bay, on the south Atlantic coast, the distance is 240 km.
After passing the line of the Tropic of Capricorn, there are mountains, where the countryside has been shaped by a former glacier and the water of the Kuiseb River. A mineral landscape made of mica schist, quartz, and conglomerate.
