All Hallows

It was our turn to travel over to Nuneaton today to meet up with Bernard. The pub he chose was called The Corner House. It's a 2-for-1 pub ( well we all like to save a little if we can!!). The lady at the bar had entered into the spirit of Halloween. The face-painting was excellent - nice costume too which included stripy stockings !! The downside was the Maston's Pedigree failed and we had to drink Hobgoblin instead. It was truly hard to cope with the disapointment !! (smiles). Main course was fine with a bonus ( and who could turn it down ?) of apple pie and custard !! Quite a find !!
