Skunk Cabbage

Never ever be tempted to plant this invasive plant in your garden and if you have it please remove it. If you have the white version then that's OK.

This is a highly invasive plant of wetlands and watercourses and almost impossible to remove, it is now illegal to sell it but I don't trust that it doesn't turn up at garden sales as many people don't realise what a nightmare it is.

This photo is taken at the head of a local loch and is what happens when this plant gets loose.
