Difference Of Opinion

This pair of Gambel's quail don't seem to agree on whether they're coming or going.  The female, gazing into the camera, looks a little confused while her hubby appears to be quite convinced in which direction they should go.  In the end, he won the dispute.  I haven't seen and little ones yet but I imagine I will soon.  The only way to attract them into the yard is to put a little seed on the ground but for me it's a Catch-22: ground seed = kangaroo rats.  I have a cockamamie plan but need to wait for less windy days - which means I may have to wait until June.  

Still excessively tired but managed to get out to my therapies: physical for my left shoulder and my weekly psychotherapy.  I haven't eaten more than toast in the last 3 or 4 days and made the mistake of stopping for lunch after the last appointment.  I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich smothered in Havarti and spinach sauce with fries.  Let's just say I now regret it.  I see my new primary care doctor tomorrow so hopefully he will be able to put this crappy health jigsaw puzzle together.
